32nd 52! Easter cupcakes!

I kinda made these. I didn't really follow through though because I didn't use the ingredients the recipe recommended. I was going to make sheep and for the faces you were supposed to use black gumdrops. Nobody in my family likes black gumdrops though so I didn't want to use them. I was going to use mini Oreo cookies but they looked kinda weird so I just decorated the cupcakes however. I made two sheep and a bunny and a sort of ducky and some Easter egg like things... I'll post the recipe for the sheep though and post pictures of what I made. I used a box mix and a home made icing. I really liked the icing because it has a smoother texture.

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 (13 or 14oz jar) marshmallow fluff
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) package miniature marshmallows
  • 24 black gumdrops
  • Decorator candy eyes
  • Licorice pieces or licorice nibs
Directions:
Combine 1 1/2 cups butter, powdered sugar and vanilla in large bowl. Beat on medium speed until creamy. Add marshmallow fluff; continue beating until well mixed. Set aside.

To create lamb faces, flatten gumdrops to 1/4-inch thickness, using palm of hand. Poke holes into gumdrops for nostrils. Attach candy eyes and licorice pieces for ears, using frosting to adhere. Set aside.

Frost cupcakes, creating mound of frosting in center. Attach 1 lamb face on front 1/3 of each cupcake. Place miniature marshmallows onto cupcakes, pressing into frosting to adhere. Attach licorice pieces or licorice nibs for tails.
